Shawn Kemp & Isaiah Thomas Visit Rucker Park For Kamikaze II Launch
For the return of the hardwood classic, the Reebok Kamikaze II Mid, Rucker Park was blessed with the presence of the man that made the shoe popular, and an emerging young NBA star. Shawn Kemp, the Reignman, crashed the launch event for the “Letter of Intent” colorway held at the famed streetball court where Isaiah Thomas of the Sacramento Kings was in attendance. Thomas graced the court wearing the newly released kicks, while Shawn Kemp looked on from the sidelines before putting on a post-game slam dunk show.

Reebok Kamikaze II “Letter of Intent”
Reebok has created a new color story surrounding the Reebok Kamikaze II. After a great high school career that culminated with being selected to the vaunted McDonald’s All-American Team, Shawn Kemp signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Kentucky. He was deemed ineligible his freshman year in Lexington, and subsequently transferred to Trinity Valley Community College. He left the JuCo after one semester, and declared for the 1989 NBA Draft, and the rest is history. Reebok Kamikaze II “Year of the Snake”
Reebok returns with their most beloved signature kicks. TheReebok Kamikaze II “Year of the Snake” puts a colorful twist on the oft-used motif. Snakeskin material employs a gradient metallic purple to teal color scheme. Black leather cloaks the rest of the shoe to bring a bit of balance to the vibrant underlay. Black snakeskin on the tongue blends with the black laces and tongue, and makes room for a lime green Reebok vector symbol. The Reebok Kamikaze II Year of the Snake is finished with a black and lime green sole for one last color splash. No release details are known as of now, but stay tuned for the latest information.
