Reebok has created a new color story surrounding the Reebok Kamikaze II. After a great high school career that culminated with being selected to the vaunted McDonald’s All-American Team, Shawn Kemp signed a letter of intent to play for the University of Kentucky. He was deemed ineligible his freshman year in Lexington, and subsequently transferred to Trinity Valley Community College. He left the JuCo after one semester, and declared for the 1989 NBA Draft, and the rest is history. However, the possibility of Kemp being a Wildcat is enough to leave Big Blue Nation wondering, “What if”?
The recognizable royal blue and white colors of UK grace the Reebok Kamikaze II Letter of Intent. The white bolt and sole of this sneaker are played up by royal blue suede. A white tongue and white laces wrap up this themed sneaker. The Reebok Kamikaze II Letter of Intent will release at select locations on August 16, just in time to add to back to school rotations.
