Inside the A$AP Mob Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 Listening Party

On the eve of the release of A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, HYPEBEAST joined the crew in New York City to get an early listen of the Mob’s second studio album. A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Ant, A$AP Nast, and the Cozy Boys introduced the tracks one-by-one before letting them play through. Flacko and Ferg had the intimate setting jumping, reciting lines from soon to be hit tracks like ‘Please Shut up’ featuring Gucci Mane, and ‘Frat Rules’ featuring Playboi Carti and Big Sean.

They sat down with the Harlem troupe to talk about how the 17-track album came together, how AWGE is the ghetto Google and how rappers need to invest their money. For the full A$AP Mob interview and an exclusive look inside the private listening party, check out the video below.

The A$AP Lords were definitely holding court in Brooklyn last night for the release of A$AP Ferg’s new “Trap Lord” LP and the second day of Trap Fest which features Ferg touring through NYC to bless his faithful followers. Ferg and his brothers took over the the Bed-Stuy based Electric Warehouse, making it a sweat filled castle of thanks and praise for the Hood Pope. Holding nothing back and always ready to literally step on someone’s neck, Ferg opened up with the confrontational “Dump Dump” and eventually leading to a finale of mob mania for his street classic “Work” and his new heater “Shabba Ranks” featuring A$AP Rocky who was also on stage in full support of the A$AP Worldwide movement. Let the game of thrones continue.

Video: Kanye West ‘Yeezus’ Album Listening Session

Yeezy held a listening session for his latest album ‘Yeezus’ last night at the loading dock of Milk Studios in New York. Among those in attendance were Jay-Z, Beyonce, Timbaland, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip and much more. He played the entire album twice, which features guest appearances by Chief Keef, King L, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and more.
