On the eve of the release of A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy, HYPEBEAST joined the crew in New York City to get an early listen of the Mob’s second studio album. A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Ant, A$AP Nast, and the Cozy Boys introduced the tracks one-by-one before letting them play through. Flacko and Ferg had the intimate setting jumping, reciting lines from soon to be hit tracks like ‘Please Shut up’ featuring Gucci Mane, and ‘Frat Rules’ featuring Playboi Carti and Big Sean.
They sat down with the Harlem troupe to talk about how the 17-track album came together, how AWGE is the ghetto Google and how rappers need to invest their money. Providence’s Own, Tasha Bleu of Treu Bleu Media releases another animated video. This time it features her photography for Socotra Eyewear. These photos were shot in Miami, Florida during Art Basel earlier this month and the basketball hoop was installed into the Atlantic Ocean by New York Sunshine and A$AP MOB. Last night A$AP Mob released their next single ‘Hella Hoes,’ from the long-awaited debut compilation album L.O.R.D. due out this year. In promotions for the movement, the MOB stopped by Hot 97 to spit another freestyle for Funkmaster Flex over Frank White’s ‘Who Shot Ya?’ instrumental. Watch the new clip above with Rocky, Ferg, Nast, A$AP Ant and Twelvyy spitting some impromptu freestyles in their next trip to Flex.
