Amazon Introduces the Kindle Fire HDX

Amazon is putting up some serious competition against its fellow tablet producers. The new Kindle Fire HDX is the latest addition to their Fire line and this version is powered by the latest 2.2-GHz Quadcore Snapdragon 800 processors, 2GBs of RAM, Adreno 330 graphics, 11 – 12 hours of battery life, 1900 x 1200 resolution in the 7″/2560 x 1600 resolution display in the 8.9″, and optional 4G LTE connectivity. The seven-inch Kindle Fire HDX will be priced at $229 USD and will begin shipping on October 18, while the 4G-enabled version will be available on November 14 for $329 USD. Microsoft Unveils the New Xbox One Console

Microsoft has officially unveiled the new Xbox One console today, the successor to the almighty Xbox 360. Samsung Officially Unveils the Samsung Galaxy S 4 With 5-Inch Full HD Display

Following numerous leaked photos and video, Samsung has officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S 4.

The beauty of the phone is the highly crafted design encompassing a larger screen size and battery, minimized bezel; all housed in a light (130g) and slim (7.9mm) shape. The Samsung GALAXY S 4 is slimmer yet stronger, with less to hold yet more to see. It has come up with simply unreal beauty. Instagram Socialmatic Camera – Back in Black

Today we can update you all on the much anticipated Socialmatic Camera by ADR Studio. We first presented the Instagram Socialmatic Camera concept in May, it resulted in such high demand, that ADR Design actually went out to look for a production partner. They found one and expect to produce the first prototype end of this year, with an official product launch to follow mid 2013. With these news they also present an updated design of the Socialmatic Camera, this time in a slick black version.

Today Apple announced the new iPad and it is not the iPad 3, it is the iPad HD. It comes with a beautiful 2048 x 1536 pixel Retina display, an A5X processor, which includes a quad-core graphics module, is 4G LTE ready and also includes a new 5 megapixel camera that is also capable of capturing 1080p video.

The new iPad HD launches on March 16th. The price is $499, $599 and $699 for 16, 32, and 64GB. If you want 4G LTE, you will have to spend $629, $729, and $829.

Verizon and AT&T to Start Selling iPad on October 28th

Verizon and AT&T have both announced that they will start selling the iPad in stores on October 28th.

AT&T

AT&T and Apple today announced that all three iPad Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available at more than 2,200 AT&T stores starting Thursday, October 28. AT&T will offer customers 3G Apple iPad Data Plans, complete with Apple’s easy, on-device activation and management. All iPad data plans are available without a term contract and include unlimited access to AT&T’s 23,000+ domestic Wi-Fi Hot Spots.

All iPad Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available beginning Thursday, October 28 in AT&T Stores across the US for a suggested retail price of $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for 64GB. Domestic data plans for iPad are priced at $14.99 per month for 250MB and $25 per month for 2GB with no term contract. Both plans include unlimited access to AT&T’s 23,000+ domestic Wi-Fi Hot Spots.

Verizon

Verizon Wireless and Apple today announced that iPad will be available at over 2,000 Verizon Wireless Stores nationwide beginning Thursday, October 28. Verizon Wireless will offer three bundles, all featuring an iPad Wi-Fi model and a Verizon MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, for a suggested retail price of $629.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 16GB + MiFi, $729.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 32GB + MiFi and $829.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 64GB + MiFi. Verizon Wireless is offering a monthly access plan to iPad customers of up to 1GB of data for just $20 a month. In addition, Verizon Wireless will also offer all three iPad Wi-Fi models on a stand-alone basis.
